Stepping up for Mental Health
On Friday 23 May, Tracey and Vicki joined around 3,000 trekkers for Coastrek Mornington Peninsula, choosing the 30km route through some of Victoria’s most stunning coastal trails, all in support of mental health.
With the weather on their side, not too hot and the rain holding off, they trekked through wild beaches, clifftop tracks and scenic trails from Cape Schanck to Point Nepean, taking in the natural beauty of Sorrento and Portsea along the way.

Coastrek is Australia’s iconic team hiking challenge where participants walk 20km, 30km or 50km in teams of two or more. More than just a physical test, Coastrek is a national fundraising movement supporting Beyond Blue and its 24/7 Support Service, helping Australians tackle anxiety, depression and mental health challenges.
Through training and the final event day, Coastrek encourages connection, movement and mindfulness, all proven to support mental wellbeing. It is an epic adventure for a great cause.
We are incredibly proud of Tracey and Vicki’s effort, resilience and commitment to raising awareness and funds for mental health. Every step they took helped make a difference.
